If I remember correctly, you just have to walk past the wall there and there's a chance your character notices it. It may be an invisible perception check, but try going past there a few times and you should get the dialogue that opens it up! I remember unlocking it by accident before the story with Dulrig, Rueben, and the Emerine Crystal, but if it still doesn't work then try progressing story a bit more and going back again.

I adore both of these men so god damn much, its insane how much this game has made me adore its cast...

As for getting Dulrig to 100 Like though, I believe the current cap is 75? He doesn't have more than 1 heart available at the moment, so I imagine they'll up the cap as the relationship progresses in updates, but you can get it to the cap by gifting him Ale.

I'm sure you've noticed, but many items, interactions, etc are capped to stop giving more Like at a certain point - for example, Lube caps at ~40, I believe - but the Ale one changes depending on how much you give him and if you agree to "a quick round" afterwards. You need to have his first heart for the higher numbers though, but that already seems to be covered

To break the 60 cap, you need to give him Ale, and then Share another when prompted - you need multiple in your inventory for this. Then after you Share, you need to agree to "a quick round" with him. The second Ale caps at 70, and the "quick round" caps at 75.

The Wiki covers a lot of things, albeit a bit outdated in areas, so i'd definitely advise looking at it if you're lost!

(My Relationships page with Dulrig for reference)

It has been a while since I offered to play around with the ideas, but I am back with my findings! Obviously, I need to preface this by saying that I can't guarantee this is all right, but this is what I observed with the ideas we had. Also, there's a tl;dr at the bottom if you don't want to read it all.

Ok so, we'd discussed the Aphrodisiac section possibly affecting the Bandits breaking in, and thus, I tested that out first. First of all, choosing to let Korg stay with you makes it impossible for the Bandits to break in at all as he disposes of them before they can make an attempt. However, in the event he is not staying with you, the earliest I got the bandits to break in was Day 11/12 with -100 Like - This was a new save where I used the cheat console to progress what I needed to. Regardless of how full the Aphrodisiac bar is, the Bandits will remain hostile with no initial libido, suggesting that it does not affect them. I only went as high as 100 Aphrodisiac (10 used), but I think there would've been some indication if it had worked. This did at least show me that, in the event they do break in and then leave, the players' house gains 20 defence which goes up by 20 each time they attempt and fail to break in following that.

Following this, I thought it may affect the pets as they're also housebound. In my playthrough, I have 100 Aphrodisiac on my house and noted that the Wolf and Dog have a scene unlike the other animals, so took to testing this theory too. However, I quickly found that this is just another scene the Wolf and Dog have built into them after reaching enough Dominance over the player - I believe it starts at Dominance 30, with little change to the scene at the cap of 50 Dominance.

Finally, I also have six prisoners in the same playthrough - 2 Ratkin, 2 Werewolves, and 2 Lizardmen - and debated whether the 100 Aphrodisiac had affected them without my notice, as many had come after I added it. Thus, in the new save, I caught a Lizardman and did the same test, interacting with him before and after applying the Aphrodisiac, and I found that it changed his manner from a  cold, stern one, to one reminiscent of the Tainted Lizardmen below the temple. I also noticed that it seems to make their passive text more sexual, such as openly masturbating, thrusting through the bars, or engaging with you while you're already playing with another in the cell. I am unaware if prisoners can usually escape as I've never had the issue arise, but if it is a feature then I'd imagine it likely makes it less likely the more you use/prevents them from doing so. Otherwise, it's simply a bar to fill for lustful flavour text and maybe some scene variation.

Overall, I don't think the Aphrodisiac is as useful for the house as, say, Defence, but probably worth it if you're playing entirely for the hornier scenes. My apologies that I took so long to get around to this, but hopefully this helps with general understanding!

tl;dr - Aphrodisiac only affects prisoners, giving them a hornier attitude and maybe some lewd scene variation.

I'm genuinely so delighted to see this game get more updates, regardless of the amount of content. You have so much passion for this project, and its abundantly clear with every update - be updating the UI to be more intuitive, story progression, or the fantastic art. We'll be here, so please take all the time you need so you can make this something you're proud of!

Ah damn, that's a shame but more than understandable. Thank you for the explanation!

Spoilers for Logan and Logan-related events!

Does anyone know if it is possible to have the wolf alpha Logan and Bottom Logan in the same save, or does the latter counteract the prior from occurring? I had noticed that I wasn't given an option to aid Logan using the werewolf event, and was uncertain whether it was due to the Bottom Logan route or simply that I had insufficient hearts with him. Any and all help is appreciated!

Ah, thank you so much for the help! I've been playing the game for a little over two years now, but realized that I'd never actually found out what certain things did/effected, and considering the wiki lacked depth on a few things I just thought it best to ask hahaha.

Admittedly, I didn't even know the bandits broke into the house at low like, but what you mentioned definitely seems likely! I'd thought it may have something to do with prisoners or pets, but had come up short in terms of results after maxing out their like and dominance at the same rate as normal.

Might mess with things and report back in how it goes, but thank you again for your input!

I may've missed this before, but is there an in-depth explanation anywhere of your home and the things you can do there? While I find everything fairly intuitive, I find myself confused on some of the mechanics, such as the Defence, Pheromones, etc of the hideout, and how the pets work, such as how dominance and like effects interactions, if at all. If anyone could offer an explanation of these, or point me in the right direction, it'd be very much appreciated!

Thank you for the heads up regarding Bernard and Korg! Does the potion also raise the like for random enemies such as the Ratkin, or is that purely done in the more traditional way?

Ah I have the recipe but thought it was purely for scenes. Thank you for the recipe nevertheless!

Another question here. I like to attempt getting all available enemies to 100 in reputation, and upon noticing I had the recipe for a Hate Potion was wondering if there is an potion that does the opposite, such as a Like Potion. It would definitely help in grinding if available - though I am aware grinding this is, for the most part, not necessary - , and if so might I ask when it becomes available? Thank you in advance to anyone who helps out!

I haven't played this myself yet, but just before i get into things might i ask if the romanceable characters are solely female, or are there also a handful of males? Regardless, the art looks gorgeous!

Perfect, thank you! I'm looking forward to what's to come!

Dead Dating community · Created a new topic Day 2 Queries

Been playing through the game and first of all allow me to say  i love it, the characters, the art, and the concept are extremely fun and original!

I was however wondering if the Storage Room and the Puzzle you can find on day 2 are currently solvable as I've been having a small bit of trouble finding the combination or pieces.

If you go downtown you should see the bar and you can access the range of drinks by going to the bar and pressing buy. Personally for myself, i bought the drink Black Horn from Grisus which is 50 money and that did it for me, but i haven't tested the other options and they could very well work too. Good luck with the fight!

Ah that is a shame but understandable, thank you

The badger fight took me a long time to finish. What i'd advise is buying a drink from the bar and then going through the events with him, that is what helped me beat him eventually. I'd tried over and over without any progress but after i drunk the drink before the fight i won first time, so though there may be a way without i think this is significantly faster

Ah perfect, thank you

Found a sprite error: on Day 2 once you leave the house the player sprite's hair is a little funky and stays that way until Harold jokes about docking you marks in the classroom.

Just got into this game last update and let me just say i absolutely adore everything about it, from the writing, to the characters, to the music its just such a delightful experience and probably one of the first dating sims i found myself wanting to play all characters route of. DyneWulf you're doing an amazing job!

However, coming with being a relatively new fan i was wondering who's routes are currently complete. I started on Harold's myself - and am just about to play the new release which i am extremely excited for - and have been debating who to chose once he was complete so thought it'd be best to check in case anyone was currently incomplete. Also i am unsure if the panther will be added to and i am assuming he will remain a side character but i'd certainly be interested in finding out more about him hahaha. Finally i was wondering what you use to make the game as i've been planning out a game myself for a while but have been having a hard time finding something i liked to make it on and this seems really intuitive for the player.

Anyway, i look forward to what is to come so please keep up the good work!

Edit: Was wondering if there is a way to reset saves in the game? I'd deleted the previous version and the saves remained but was hoping to start fresh to make the most of Harold's finished route. Thank you

Ah i likely should've said that i am playing the public version of the game currently, so i am assuming that as of what is available currently there is no more progression for the Kuri route? Regardless, i fortunately chose Kevin merely by preference during the Ruvin quest so i suppose i'll be ready for the update when it arrives here!

As for the Trald wolf event i managed to get Doggo about an hour after posting the question, but i appreciate the help nonetheless.

Thank you for getting back to me so soon and i look forward to the next update!

Is it possible to continue Kuri's story line after the Ruvin event? He said that once it was over he'd been allowed to have free rein of us, however, when i go back to him he tells me i still need to please the fox despite already being level 2.

The only story line i can think that might give me access to him is the one with the mountain beasts and Trald, however i also cannot seem to trigger that any further than simply meeting Trald and not finding the beasts together. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
